God Is Blocking Attacks You Can’t See

Today is all about a powerful encouragement rooted in biblical truth 🙌
Divine Protection
The idea that God is constantly shielding us, often without our awareness, is deeply embedded in Scripture. Even when danger is invisible to us, God is present, actively intervening for our safety, deliverance, and peace.
1. God's Protection is Often Unseen
Psalm 91:11-12 (KJV)
"For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone."
These verses affirm that God appoints angels to guard His people. This protection happens in the spiritual realm, often beyond human perception. We walk through life unaware of the traps and dangers from which we’ve been shielded.
2. Deliverance From the Invisible Enemy
2 Kings 6:16-17 (KJV)
"And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.
And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
Elisha’s servant couldn’t see God's protection until his eyes were opened. This shows us that spiritual warfare is real, and so is God’s defense, even when we can't see it. The enemy was present, but so was God’s far greater army.
3. God Preserves the Righteous
Psalm 121:7-8 (KJV)
"The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore."
God’s preservation is continuous, day in and day out. Many dangers never manifest in our awareness because God intervenes before they reach us.

4. No Weapon Shall Prosper
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)
"No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord."
This verse doesn’t say weapons won’t be formed - it says they won’t prosper. The implication is that attacks may be launched, but God's intervention renders them ineffective.
5. Trusting Even in the Unseen
2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
We are called to live by faith, trusting that God's hand is working behind the scenes, even when we don't perceive it. Our security is in the Lord, not our awareness.
Conclusion: God is Our Hidden Defender
Every day, God shields us from dangers, both seen and unseen. The storms you didn’t face, the accidents that didn’t happen, the discouragements that didn’t take root — all are evidence of His silent intervention. Keep trusting. You are more protected than you know.
Encouraging Reminder Verse
Psalm 34:7 (KJV)
"The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them."
Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for being my shield and defender. Thank You for the countless dangers You’ve kept from me — those I’ve seen, and the many I never knew existed. You are the God who watches over me when I sleep, who goes before me when I walk, and who stands behind me when I feel alone.
Lord, I confess that I often worry about what I can see, forgetting that You are already handling what I cannot. Teach me to trust You more deeply — to believe that even when the battle is invisible, You are still fighting for me. Open my eyes to see Your faithfulness, and open my heart to rest in Your promises.
Forgive me for the times I doubted Your presence. Remind me that Your angels surround me, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and that Your hand is never too short to save. You are my refuge and my fortress — my God, in whom I will trust.
Cover me today with Your peace, Lord. Shield my mind from fear, my body from harm, and my spirit from discouragement. Let Your Word be my anchor and Your presence be my comfort. I declare that I am not alone, not vulnerable, not unprotected — because You, O Lord, are with me.
I give You all the praise for the attacks You blocked, the doors You closed, and the paths You cleared that I never even saw. You are good, You are faithful, and You are always near.
Thank you once again,
Amen 🙏
