Commentary:
“Jehovah Nissi” means “The LORD is my Banner” (Exodus 17:15). A banner in biblical times was a rallying point in battle, something lifted high to unite, lead, and give hope to the people.
In declaring Jehovah Nissi, we are proclaiming that the Lord is the One who gives us victory, identity, and direction in spiritual warfare.
